Changed OpenVPN password, now it doesn't work anymore.

OpenVPN pass-phrase

What you've probably done is add a password to the security certificate:

The password you change using the OpenVPN software is not the 12vpn account password, it's a separate password to secure your security certificate.

The 12vpn account password can only be changed on the my.anuson.com website.

This would mean you now have 2 passwords

  1. One to unlock the security certificate (which you newly created just now)
  2. One to login to our VPN service (as we provided you with earlier, and is currently unchanged)

To remove the password on the security certificate you have to re-install the certificates either manually or by re-installing the preconfigured OpenVPN installer.

Above document is written for users of 12vpn.com but may apply to users of other VPN's.
